I am so proud to announce that “This is the Place” has become my debut piece for my Artsy.net profile! Artsy is a world-renowned marketplace for artists, galleries and collectors. Due to it’s exclusive nature, artists may only appear via gallery exhibition or representation.

“This is the Place” is a very special piece to me, painted at a time where I was at a crossroads of continuing my corporate design role or leaping fully into my art career. It explore the idea of “place”, which can be a physical or emotional state. When I look at it today, I think about how no matter the challenges I may be facing - I am in the place I am meant to be. It makes me feel reflective and hopeful about the present and the future.

This work will be on show at Covet Gallery in Oceanside through August 10th, 2024. I am especially excited that this gallery will also be showcasing these arts on Artsy.net. Being showcased as an artist on this platform is a big step forward, and I am looking forward to finding more opportunities to expand my body of work on this world-renowned marketplace. As for the show - Covet Gallery’s opening for “Ladies Night” was a bustling hub of art lovers and female artists! I highley encourage my local Californians to check out this contemporary gallery in South Oceanside. It’s so inspiring to be shown next to other incredible female artists, and I hope to participate in more shows in the future!
